Author Biography
Daria Pezzoli-Olgiati is professor of the study of religion and the history of religion at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. The interaction between religion and media as well as the role of religion in the public sphere are her principal research interests. She also works on space-critical and gender-critical approaches to religion and on methods and theories in the study of religion, with a focus on European traditions. She is currently working on a reserach project at the Max Weber Centre for Advanced Cultural and Social Studies in Erfurt as part of the research group "Religion and Urbanity: Reciprocal Formations", which is funded by the DFG (FOR 2779).
